Another Side of OBERON
With the photographer Mar Rubia, Aliénor Figueiredo explored another aspect of Oberon's character and costume design. Based on a more mystical approach, these outside shots show a more sensitive, esoteric and mutable King of the Forest. His relationship to the stellar world is glorified by his headdress, a second face that raises him to the sky, which directly takes after the pre-Colombian Art and its worship of the Sungod. The metamorphosis, main concept of Midsummer Night's Dream, is here indicated by the colored fringes of his moving cape.
