Aliénor Figueiredo was born in 1992 in the North of France. Coming from a multicultural and international family (French, Portuguese, Spanish and Argentinian), she mixes Mediterranean and European inspirations to create her own rich and different universe. After preparing a History of Arts Degree in France, she settled in Barcelona to start a Costume Design for a Stage and Cinema Master Degree in the Institut Catalá de la Moda (Catalan Institut of Fashion). After working in the puppet company Herta Frankel and on different shortfilms, she moved to Argentina to continue her research on style, singularity and savoir-faire.
Her origins and numerous trips (from Spain and Peru to Japan and Holland) helped her to learn many lenguages, but also to have a sampling of new cultures and take inspiration from their colours and forms, their rituals and costums, their history and their ideals. Her atypical training also provides her with a larger outlook of the job of Costume Designer, a high degree of adaptability and a particular artistic sensibility. In this website she presents her latest works, her current projects and her personal visual comments.
